New York, New York... In Alaska

Dad was a great sport on our trip to Alaska, he sang in the Oosterdam Super Star competition.... He did a great job and the crowd loved him!!! If he were able to pick his own song, he would have made it to the finals for sure:) Thanks dad for putting me back in the will and not holding a grudge for too long! We had a super trip!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

A Special Day!

Today is David Archuleta day, but more importantly, it's Lindsey's 20th b-day, did I do the math right? I've been thinking of her and Todd and Kathy today!!!

Well today I loaded up the kids and headed to Murray with Gaye Lynn and her kids. It was a spur of the moment thing and it was awesome!!! David was performing at his high school in Murray and we went to see him. Jace and Sami were really good. Sami clapped along with the crowd and Jace sat on my shoulders and waved at David saying "Hi David" then he looked down at me and said "I don't think he can see me" It was pretty funny:) He sounded AWESOME live, even better than on TV. If any of you want to come down to the Idol Concert it's July 17, a Monday so we can make it a big Family Home Evening activity:)

Jace is very excited to come to Idaho to see his cousins, we are planning on coming to the cabin for Memorial Day weekend, so we'll see you soon! Take extra good care of mother on Mother's day! Wish I could be there!!
